Metro Manila has pastry and baking suppliers serving every level of business, from home-based cake sellers buying ingredients by the kilo to commissaries sourcing flour, chocolate, premixes and packaging by the case. This directory covers 70 supplier businesses and physical supplier branches that buyers can investigate across the National Capital Region.
The list includes retail baking stores, commercial ingredient manufacturers, food-service distributors, cake-decoration specialists, packaging sellers and equipment companies. Several companies serve Metro Manila through online ordering or distributor networks instead of walk-in stores.
Confirm current inventory, minimum orders, delivery charges and operating hours directly before visiting or paying. Many suppliers change prices and stock levels frequently, especially for butter, cream, chocolate, nuts and imported ingredients.

How to Use This Pastry Suppliers Directory
Start with location, then narrow your choices according to the products and quantities you need.
A home baker making two cakes a week does not need the same supplier arrangement as a commissary producing hundreds of pastries daily. Retail stores are useful for small packs, emergency purchases and decorating tools. Commercial suppliers become more practical when you need consistent specifications, full cases, sacks or recurring deliveries.
Before requesting a quotation, prepare:
- Your exact product description or preferred brand.
- Required pack size and estimated monthly quantity.
- Delivery city and barangay.
- Whether you need official receipts or VAT invoices.
- Required delivery date.
- Acceptable substitute brands.
- Storage requirements for chilled or frozen products.
Ask the supplier to itemize the product cost, VAT, delivery charge, handling fee and minimum-order requirement. A low unit price can become expensive after delivery and small-order fees are added.

How to Choose a Pastry Supplier
1. Compare the Exact Product Specification
“Chocolate,” “cream” and “flour” are not precise enough for a business quotation.
Specify:
- Couverture, compound or baking chocolate
- Bread flour, cake flour or all-purpose flour
- Dairy whipping cream or non-dairy topping
- Salted, unsalted or cultured butter
- Powder, gel or oil-based food color
- Ready-to-use filling or fruit preparation
- Frozen laminated dough or unbaked pastry sheets
- Food-grade box, grease-resistant liner or freezer-safe container
Changing a specification can change your recipe cost, texture, shelf life and production process.
2. Calculate the Delivered Cost
Use this formula:
Delivered unit cost = product cost + VAT + delivery + handling + payment fees
Divide the result by the actual usable quantity. Account for trimming, spillage, melting, breakage and expired stock.
A supplier selling butter for less per kilogram is not automatically cheaper when it requires a case quantity your business cannot consume before the product deteriorates.
3. Check Minimum Order Quantities
Minimum orders differ according to the supplier and product.
Retail stores normally sell individual packs. Wholesalers can require cartons, sacks or minimum peso amounts. Manufacturers can require account approval, regular volumes or ordering through an authorized dealer.
Ask these questions:
- Is the minimum based on value, weight or number of cases?
- Can different products be combined to meet the minimum?
- Is there a separate minimum for free delivery?
- Are trial quantities available?
- Does the supplier split cases?
- Is a deposit required for special orders?
4. Evaluate Consistency
Buy a test quantity before changing a core ingredient.
For flour, record water absorption, mixing time, dough strength and finished yield. For chocolate, check flavor, viscosity, setting time and tempering behavior. For cream, measure whipping volume, stability and refrigeration performance.
Keep the original packaging and lot number until the batch has passed your internal test.
5. Review Delivery Conditions
Confirm:
- Ordering cut-off
- Delivery days for your city
- Chilled or frozen transport
- Receiving time window
- Subdivision, building or parking fees
- Failed-delivery charges
- Rain protection
- Replacement procedure for damaged goods
A pastry operation can lose an entire production day when cream or butter arrives warm, late or damaged.
6. Confirm Documentation
Businesses can require:
- Official receipt or sales invoice
- VAT information
- Product specification sheet
- Allergen declaration
- Certificate of analysis
- Expiration or best-before information
- Storage instructions
- Food-safety certification
- Halal certification
- Import documentation for selected ingredients
Request these records before committing to recurring commercial purchases.
Specialty Products Available from Metro Manila Suppliers
Chocolate and Cocoa
Suppliers carry compound chocolate, couverture chocolate, cocoa powder, chips, callets, blocks and ready-to-use sauces. Your Ate PH’s online range includes brands and formats such as Callebaut callets, Van Houten compound chocolate and cocoa products.
Premixes and Bread Improvers
Commercial suppliers offer cake mixes, bread improvers, donut mixes, waffle mixes, fillings and customized formulations. Mix Plant develops custom dry and liquid blends, while Bakels, Puratos and Lesaffre focus on bakery ingredients for professional production.
Colors, Flavors and Decorations
Retail baking stores sell gel colors, powder colors, flavorings, sprinkles, edible toppers, fondant, molds, piping tips and icing decorations. Ferna also manufactures colors and flavor systems suitable for batters, dough, buttercream and fondant.
Packaging
Common products include:
- Cake boxes
- Cupcake boxes
- Cake boards
- Loaf and pastry containers
- Grease-resistant paper
- Parchment paper
- Clamshell containers
- Stickers and seals
- Paper bags
- Food-safe pouches
Confirm the internal measurement of each package. A box described as eight inches does not always provide enough clearance for an eight-inch cake with thick icing and decorations.
Specialty-Diet Ingredients
Selected online and specialty suppliers carry gluten-free flour, alternative sweeteners, nuts, seeds, dairy alternatives and sugar-free products. Ask for allergen-handling information when making products advertised for customers with allergies or medical dietary restrictions.
Tips for Building Strong Supplier Relationships
Place orders with complete product names, pack sizes and quantities. Avoid sending only photos when a formal product code is available.
Pay within agreed terms. Suppliers are more willing to reserve stock, discuss credit arrangements or accommodate urgent requests when the buyer has a consistent payment history.
Maintain at least two sources for critical ingredients. Flour, butter, cream, chocolate and packaging should not depend on one supplier when they are essential to daily production.
Share a rolling estimate of your requirements when your volume becomes predictable. A supplier can plan inventory more effectively when it knows that you consume ten cases monthly instead of receiving a surprise ten-case order.
Report quality problems promptly and provide:
- Invoice number
- Product name
- Lot number
- Expiration date
- Quantity affected
- Photos or video
- Storage conditions
- Description of the problem
Do not discard the product until the supplier advises how it will inspect, collect or replace the stock.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity for pastry suppliers in Metro Manila?
There is no standard minimum. Retail baking stores sell individual packs, while wholesalers can impose a minimum peso value, full-case requirement or minimum number of sacks. Ask whether assorted products can be combined to meet the minimum.
Do pastry suppliers offer same-day delivery?
Some retail stores support same-day delivery through customer-booked couriers. Same-day service depends on stock, payment confirmation, preparation time and distance. All About Baking’s online notice states that standard dispatch can take several business days and directs urgent customers to its express-order channel.
Which suppliers offer credit terms?
Credit is normally subject to application, trade references, business documents, order history and internal approval. New businesses should expect cash, bank transfer or online payment until a purchasing relationship has been established.
What are the normal operating hours of baking-supply stores?
Mall branches follow mall schedules. Standalone stores commonly operate during daytime business hours. All About Baking publishes branch-specific schedules because its mall and street locations do not all open at the same time.
Can I buy imported baking ingredients locally?
Yes. Metro Manila suppliers carry imported chocolate, cocoa, dairy products, nuts, flavors and equipment. Inventory changes according to import schedules, foreign-exchange movements and distributor availability.
Is wholesale always cheaper than retail?
No. Wholesale pricing can reduce the unit cost, but savings disappear when a business overbuys, pays high delivery charges or allows ingredients to expire. Compare delivered cost and realistic consumption.
Which suppliers provide the widest selection?
Multi-category stores such as All About Baking, Restaurant Depot and established baking-supply retailers cover several categories. Commercial manufacturers provide a narrower range within specialized categories such as premixes, yeast, flour, chocolate or fats.
Do suppliers provide free delivery?
Some offer free delivery after a minimum purchase or within a limited service area. Others require the customer to book a courier. Ask whether tolls, parking charges, waiting time and building-access fees are included.
Final Supplier Checklist

Build a short list of one primary supplier and one backup supplier for each critical product. That structure protects production when an item becomes unavailable or delivery is disrupted.
