Company Clarification
Sulit.ph is an independent Philippine technology company.
It is not affiliated with, connected to, or a continuation of the former Sulit.com.ph classified advertising website, which later became part of OLX Philippines.
Although both organizations use the Filipino word “Sulit,” they are separate entities with different ownership, leadership, business models, and objectives.
This distinction was considered in WIPO Case No. DPH2011-0003 (Netrepreneur Connections Enterprises Inc. v. Anton Sheker). In its decision, the administrative panel recognized that “Sulit” is a common Filipino descriptive word and that ownership and use of Sulit.ph should be considered independently of Sulit.com.ph.
