How to use EasyTrip And Autosweep RFID
EasyTrip & Autosweep RFID tags are two different types of RFID tags that are used for tracking cars that use the expressway. NLEX and SLEx are operated by MPTC and SMC, respectively. To let drivers travel quickly and safely, both companies offer RFIDs that can tag vehicles.
These RFIDs contain radio transmitters and receivers. When activated by an RFID reader (like passing through a toll gate), the tags send information back to the reader and deducts the payment without a human’s physical intervention. For example, when you pass through the toll gate, the system automatically deducts the money from your bank account.
A tag is used to identify vehicles by its unique ID. This is done by attaching an RFID chip to the windshield or headlights of a car. The chip stores information about the owner of the vehicle, including name, address, license plate number, and other details. With this technology, people can pay for tolls without having to carry cash or coins. The tags also help prevent theft of vehicles. Each of these tollway corporations implement their own RFID systems. MPTC uses EasyTrip, while SMC uses AutoSweep. This means EasyTrip RFID can be used on expressways managed by MTPCT. Likewise, the AutoSweep RFID works on tollways operated by SMC. For example, an easy trip RFID cannot be accepted on SLEX since it needs an Autosweep RFID. Same goes for when you pass though NLEX and you only have an autosweep RFid. If you use the tollways managed by MPTC and also SMC, you have 2 RFIDs installed on your vehicle: one from EasyTrip and another from Autosweep.
Most autosweepers use an induction loop or a magnetic field to detect vehicles passing over it. Some use radar, ultrasonic or infrared technology. These devices measure distance, speed and direction. They also count cars and trucks as well as motorcycles.Headlights stick to your forehead is a good idea if your vehicle is equipped with a transparent sticker.
Your license plate can be attached to a sticker when you put your RFID tag on top of your license plate. Where to load and how to check your balance.
You can top up autosweep and easytrip through their designated kiosk on the highway or at 7-11 or SM but with the risk of exposure, you may wanna avoid physical RFID loading station. You can send money online using Easytrip. You can also use your mobile phone to check your balance. You can add more balances to the RFID cards.

Advantages of using RFID on tollways
RFID technology is becoming increasingly popular in many industries.
It’s used in everything from cars to credit cards to medical devices. But what exactly is RFID technology and how does it benefit us?
In this article, we’ll take a closer look at RFID technology and its advantages.
What Is RFID Technology?
Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology uses radio waves to track objects and people. The technology was first developed in World War II to identify military vehicles.
Today, RFID tags are used in many different ways. They’re found on everything from clothing to food packaging to shipping containers.
How Does RFID Work?
An RFID tag contains a small chip that stores information about the object it’s attached to. This information is then transmitted wirelessly to a reader device.
When the tag is read, the reader sends out a signal that activates the chip inside the tag. The chip then transmits data back to the reader.
This allows the reader to determine where the tagged item is located. For example, a car equipped with an RFID tag could tell a driver whether there are any open parking spots available nearby.
RFID Tags Can Be Used for Many Different Purposes
There are two types of RFID tags: active and passive. Active tags contain their own power source, such as batteries. Passive tags don’t need their own power source. Instead, they use the electromagnetic field created by the reader to transmit data.
Active tags are typically used for tracking purposes. They’re often placed on items that need to be tracked, such as packages shipped across the country.
Passive tags are usually used for security purposes. These tags store information about the person carrying them. If the tag is scanned, the information stored on the tag can then be sent to a computer system.
Passive tags can be used to verify identity, track inventory, and monitor access points.
The Benefits of Using RFID Technology
RFID technology has many benefits. It’s extremely accurate and reliable. In fact, some experts predict that within 10 years, RFID tags will replace barcodes.
RFID tags are also very durable. Unlike barcodes, which can become unreadable after repeated scans, RFID tags continue working well over time.
RFID tags can also be easily updated. Barcodes must be replaced every time they change. With RFID tags, however, the information contained on the tags can simply be changed.
Finally, RFID tags are much smaller than barcodes. Because they’re so small, they can be embedded into almost anything.
For instance, RFID tags can be embedded into clothing and shoes. This makes it easier to track these items.
RFID tags also allow companies to reduce costs. Since they don’t require special scanners, they can be purchased at a lower cost than traditional barcode readers.
RFID technology is quickly growing in popularity. Companies are now developing products that use RFID tags to make everyday life easier.
Best to get your RFID Tag or wait 30+ more minutes on a busy day using the CASH lanes.. it’s worth it.. Sulit talaga to save time and make your trip smooth and enjoyable without any hiccups of waiting at the toll booth.
