“If you have a dream, if you have an idea, even [if] it’s crazy – try it.”
Swiss pilot and aviation enthusiast Yves Rossy has been pushing hard to bring to life the realization of anyone’s dream to fly. More commonly known as Jetman, Rossy is the inventor of a wing-suit system powered by four Jet-Cat P200 engines and uses carbon-fiber wings for flying.
“I truly believe that flying is a part of my DNA. Even as a pilot, flying military and civilian aircrafts, I always had a dream of flying free in the open skies, because that is where you can truly be free… I want to make possible what humans have only been dreaming of and I believe that Dubai provides the right environment and infrastructure for me to achieve this.”
Together with his protege Vince Reffet, they flew over Dubai’s Palm Island, and performed stunts while flying at 120mph. We were all amazed and we couldn’t stop playing the video over and over again.
