Before boarding an international flight from Beijing to Wenzhou, a Chinese plane passenger was told she couldn’t take a 700ml bottle of Remy Martin XO Excellence on board.
So instead, she chugged the entire content of the bottle rather than let it go to waste. But she was then deemed unfit to fly.
The incident occurred at the Beijing Capital International Airport and was forced to sleep the effects of the cognac off. According to one airport officer, “She was so drunk she couldn’t even stand up. We took her to a room in a wheelchair so she could rest.”
Police released her to family members who came to pick her up.
