Video music can be challenging to find. It is also one of my dilemmas when it comes to editing videos. All of your footage is tied together by music, so finding the right one is crucial.
Consider it as finding the right partner for you. There’s no point in it if it doesn’t tick all the boxes. Nevertheless, as the adage goes, you can’t get it all. Good things in life don’t come for free, and A+ music is no exception.
You may be looking for sites to download music for your YouTube videos or any other multimedia project. Here are some recommendations.
- Bensound
Bensound provides royalty-free music in a wide range of genres. With the Free License, you may use Bensound’s music in your multimedia projects (online videos, websites, animations, etc.) for free in exchange for crediting Bensound.com.
- Incompetech
As one of the pioneers of royalty-free music, Incompetech makes it possible for us to use over 2K pieces for free. Thanks to American composer Kevin MacLeod. The site has been updated, and you can now search for music based on mood, length, speed, key, and genre. If you are uploading your video to YouTube or another platform, make sure to give credit.
- Mixkit
You can also download free stock video footage and Adobe Premiere Pro templates for your editing projects from Mixkit, along with free royalty-free music. In addition, you can use all audio clips without having to sign up or give attribution.
- Free-stock-music
You can search for free royalty-free music with FSM based on mood, tempo, length, and license type. Don’t forget to put the attribution in the credits. Every track’s page contains more information about attribution.
- Purple Planet
It is less famous, but Purple Planet offers a collection of free royalty-free music for use on YouTube and other media projects. Be sure to give them credit as follows: “Music: https://www.purple-planet.com.”
- Youtube
There wouldn’t be a complete list without mentioning YouTube itself. In the early days of YouTube, it was only an uploading service. Even so, more and more jingles and music have been added to the YouTube platform as the years have passed.
- Free-Internet-Music
Although we have not personally tried the site, we did find a good section on Filipino music and Youtube videos. However, it is recommended that you read their terms and conditions of service, as with the other royalty-free platforms.
Note: If you plan to use royalty-free music on YouTube in the Philippines, it is always a good idea to read the terms and conditions of the music company. Music creators may allow free downloads, but with some restrictions. For example, they may have to credit the author in the description.
And there you go. Do you have any other sites that you would like to recommend as well? Please share it with us in the comments down below!
