Games Wednesday (DHVSU Gym)
12:30 p.m. – Blackwater vs TNT
3 p.m. – Terrafirma vs San Miguel
6 p.m. – Meralco vs Magnolia
The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) makes its return to action on Wednesday with a triple-header at the DHVSU Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.
After being on the shelf for almost a month after the league decided to suspend its games due to the rise of COVID-19 cases in the country, the PBA restarts the 46th season in Pampanga and will feature the two unbeaten teams so far in the tournament.
The undefeated TNT Tropang Giga (3-0) kicks off the triple-header with a game versus the winless Blackwater Bossing (0-4) at 12:30 p.m. The San Miguel Beermen (3-1), meanwhile, takes on the also winless Terrafirma Dyip (0-4) at 3 p.m. before the Magnolia Hotshots (4-0) battles the Meralco Bolts (4-1) in the nightcap at 6 p.m.

PBA commissioner Willie Marcial and the members of the PBA board of governors are grateful to Pampanga Gov. Dennis Pineda, Cong. Dong Gonzales and to the different members of the DHVSU board of trustees for their support allowing the restart of the tourney stalled by the shift to a strict quarantine status in NCR plus area.
The PBA players and staff will be observing augmented health and safety protocols where violators are to face stiff sanctions. Part of the guidelines is a regular RT-PCR test every Monday plus antigen testing the morning of every game day.
Clean results of the tests last Monday paved the way for the games to restart on Wednesday.
